SBI Clerk Selection Procedure 2017-2018, SBI Clerk Selection Process 2017: The Selection procedure of SBI Clerk will include online entrance exam (Preliminary and Mains Exam), test of official &/or local language, and the interview.

Applicants, who want to take enroll for post of Junior Associates & Junior Agricultural Associates, will have to clear the SBI Clerk online examination (both Preliminary & Mains Exams) with the scheduled cut off marks.

Aspirants succeeding in the Preliminary Examination of SBI Clerk 2017 recruitment will be concerned the eligible for the Mains Exam. Those successfully qualified the Mains Exam will be further called for the test of local or official language. The Last selection of applicant will be depend on the marks acquired by the aspirants in the Mains Exam.

The State bank of India will refer/send the call letter of appointment to those listed candidates who ranked higher in the merit list.

Explanation of various phases consisted in the SBI Clerk 2017 selection Process

Phase 1: Preliminary Exam

The Applicants applying for the vacancy of the Junior Associates & Junior Agricultural Associates will have to 1st appear for CBT i.e. computer based preliminary exam of SBI clerk Recruitment 2017. The exam will include objective questions in nature for 100 marks. The questions will be found from 3 sections which is English Language, Numerical ability and Reasoning Ability. The duration of examination will be 1 hour allow. Applicants will have to succeed in all of the 3 tests with securing at least qualifying marks to be prescribed by respective Bank.

Phase 2: Mains Examination:

Applicants succeeding in the preliminary exam successfully are needed to appear in the mains exam. The mains exam of SBI Clerk recruitment 2017 will be managed for 200 marks with having 2 hours 40 minutes time duration.

The structure of SBI Clerk 2017 main examination would be as follows:

Students will have to succeed in all of the objective exams with scoring at least passing marks to be considered by SBI Bank depend on the performance of each Applicants taken composed in all test to at least necessary level. Furthermore, applicants are required to acquire at least percentage marks on total (For SC/ ST/ PWD/ OBC/XS applicants, have 5% relaxation will be provided). The least percentage marks in total will be stable by SBI (State bank of India).

Phase 3:  Interview

Applicants qualified in the Mains exam will be placed in merit list as per to His/her marks. Applicants who placed high in merit list will be invited for interview subject to number of posts available. Students must secure a least percentage marks to be prescribed by respective bank in interview stage so that they will be concerned for last/final selection.

Test of knowledge of official/ local language

Applicants who presented the 10th level certificate /mark sheet as a proof that applicant have studied official (local) language will be excused to appear in any language exam. In the case of other Applicants, language exam will be direct at the time of interview or earlier last/final selection. Applicants who unsuccessful in local and/or official language should be disqualified.

Phase 4: Final selection

The marks secured in the SBI Clerk Preliminary Examination will not be occupied into concern through the selection procedure. Applicants would note that only the marks attained in the Mains Examination will be occupied into account for making the last/final merit list. Students who ranked high in merit will be occupied an appointment letter. The SBI 2017 Clerk final/last selection list will be prepare available on Rozgar Samachar/ Employment News as well as on website of SBI.
