KCET Application Form 2020

KEA will declare the KCET 2020 application form in the 2 week of January 2020. Applicants can check here all information of filling the online application form:

The KCET application form will be assumed via online mode only.
Applicants can fill the KCET 2020 online application form at last 1 week of March 2020.
Applicants have to upload their digitalphotograph, signature and left hand thumb impression.
The size of the photograph, left hand thumb impression and signature must be greater than 5 KB and not more than 40 KB. The dimension should be 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm (Photograph), 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm (left hand thumb impression and Signature).
Before filling the online application form, Applicants must read the details carefully.
Take 2 or more the printouts of the filled application form for further use.

Application Fee:

Applicants can make payment only through offline mode(through the specified bank Challan).
The application fee is  650/-for General & OBC category Applicants.
Applicants, those belong to SC/ST category has to pay Rs. 500 as an application fee.

KCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria:

The KCET eligibility criteria are different for the courses of Engineering/Architecture and Pharmacy/Science. Applicants can check their eligibility for appearing in the KCET exam:

For Engineering/Architecture Courses:

Qualifying Exam: Applicants have to qualify the 2nd PUC/10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized (well known) board.
Subject: Applicants must pass their examination with Physics and Mathematics as a main subject & English as a language subject.
Minimum Marks: It is mandatory to score minimum 45% marks (40% marks in ST/SC category candidates) in mathematics and physics by with one of the subjects, i.e. Biotechnology/Chemistry/Biology/Electronics/Computer science.
Appearing Applicants can also able to apply.

For architecture course, Applicants have a valid NATA score

For Pharmacy/Science Courses:

  • Qualifying Exam: Applicants have to pass their 2 PUC/10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as a language subject.
  • Minimum Marks: Applicants have to secure at least 50% marks (40% in case of ST/SC Category candidates) in PCB group.
  • Appearing Applicants can also able to apply.

KCET Exam Pattern

Mode of Exam: The examination will be held by offline mode (pen & paper based).

Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be given for each correct answer.

Time Duration: The complete time duration is 320 minutesfor the all exam. Each section will be provide 80 minutes.

Types of Question: Multiple Choice Type Question will be asked.
Number of Questions: 60 question will be asked from all section.
Negative Marking: Negative marking is disabled.

KCET Syllabus

The KCET 2020 Syllabus will comprise of the syllabus of PUC 1 and 2 given by the Department of Pre-University Education of the Karnataka State. The syllabus for Pharmacy will contain of mainly 3 subjects, i.e. Physics, Biology and Chemistry and for engineering courses, Applicants have to go by the subjects such as Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.

KCET Admit Card 2020

Applicants will be able to get their admit card via online mode from our website.

KCET 2020 Admit Card will be released from the April 2020, 3rd week. The admit card consist information such as name of Applicant, address of the exam center, roll number, date of exam & time, etc. Without a valid admit card, no Applicant will be permitted in the examination hall.

KCET Results 2020

Applicants will check their KCET 2020 results through online mode. The result will be announced by the directing authority in the Last week of May 2020. Applicants have to enter their registration number to check their results. Keep a print copy of the result & safe it till the admission procedure not over. The organization will also declare the KCET cut-off after the result announcement.

KCET Counselling 2020

The KCET Counselling will be commenced on June 2020, 2nd week.
Shortlisted Applicants will be named for the online counselling procedure on the basis of their merit in the gateway (entrance) examination.
Applicants’ documents will be verified at the time of counselling in the prescribed counselling centre. So, Applicants have to report personally in the counselling.
The seats allotment will take place according to the marks scored in the gateway (entrance) examination, filled choices and seat availability.
Applicant can participate in other counselling rounds, if he/she cannot satisfy with the seat allotment.
