NDA 2019 Application Form  [HOW TO APPLY]

  • Applicants can apply for NDA 2019 through official website of UPSC.
  • No offline application form is applicable for NDA 2019 Exam.
  • After visiting the official website applicants have to fill two parts for fill the application form.
  • First, applicants have to fill the registration form, applicants have to fill some basic information like Name of applicant, Father’s Name, Aadhar number etc.
  • After completing registration applicants will get the registration number.
  • In part-I of Application form, applicants have to fill the personal details, qualification, communication and other prescribed details.
  • After completing part –I, applicants have to fill part-II, applicants have to choose the exam centre and scanned the photograph and signature and Upload it in the perfect format in given box.
  • Then, applicants have to pay the fees of application form.
  • After completing the application form take the print out of application form for future purpose.

Application Fee:

  • Those applicants who belong from general & OBC category they have to pay Rs. 100/-
  • Those applicants who belong from SC/ST category and wards of NCOs/ JCOs/Ors, they no need to pay the application fees.
  • Applicants can pay the fee of application form through VISA/Master/Debit Card and Net banking.
  • Applicants can also pay the fees through e-challan of SBI Bank.

NDA 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Before apply the application form applicants must have to know the eligibility criteria. Here we are providing some eligibility criteria for NDA exam to applicants that consist of Nationality, Age, Qualification, physical standard.


  • Applicants must have a resident of India, a subject of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan or
  • Those applicants who moved from Burma, Pakistan Sri Lanka, and East African Countries of the Zambia, Zaire, United Republic of Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Malawi and Ethiopia or Vietnam when permanently lived in India
  • And, those applicants who belonged from Tibetan refugee and came over India with the aim of permanently settling in India as on 1st January 1962.

Age Limits:

  • Marital Status & Gender:only Male applicants can apply for this Exam who is Unmarried.
  • Applicant age must be start from 17.5 years to 19.5 years.
  • NDA-I Age Limit:Applicant should be born 2nd July 1999 to 1st July 2003.
  • NDA-II Age Limit:Applicants should be born 2nd January 2001 to 1st July 2004.

Qualification Criteria:

  • For Army Wing:applicants must be completed their 10+2 level from any State Education Board or a University.  Minimum number of marks which is prescribed by the NDA.
  • For Air Force and Naval of NDA and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at Indian Naval Academy: Applicants must have Physics and Mathematics subjects 12th standard.

Physical Standards:

  • Applicants must have physically fit as per the terms and condition which is approved by National Defense Academy and Naval Academy Examination.
  • After completing physical exam, applicants have to go through with medical examination which is organized by the Military Hospital after being recommended at the SSB.

NDA 2019 Exam Pattern

  • Type of Question:applicants will get multiple choice questions for the examination.
  • Exam Mode: Applicants have to attend the paper through of offline process(pen and Paper)
  • Exam Duration: duration of exam for applicants is 150 minutes.
  • Section:Applicants will get two sections for Mathematics and General awareness.
  • Language:question paper will be available in English & Hindi only for applicants.
  • Negative Marking:Negative marking is applicable for each incorrect answer of NDA exam.

NDA 2019 Syllabus

  • Those applicants who are applying exam they must have to know the syllabus of NDA exam.
  • Applicants have to prepare for the exam according to the syllabus and applicants also make the short rough notes for prepare the exam.
  • Syllabus of NDA will be divided into two sections which are general awareness and mathematics, so applicants have to prepare accordingly.
  • In mathematics section applicants have to prepare these topics Trigonometry, Algebra, Vector Algebra, Statistics, Integral Calculus Differential Calculus, & Differential equations, Probability, etc.
  • The general ability section test is also divided into two parts which are English and General Knowledge.

NDA Admit Card 2019

  • Admit card for applicants will be available few weeks before when exam will held.
  • Admit card of NDA for applicants will not be sending you through post.
  • For downloading the admit card applicants have to fill to fill the registration number, Date of Birth or Roll number and other details also which is prescribed in the admit card format.
  • Admit card of Applicants will include the details regarding the name of applicants, roll number, exam centre, exam date & timing, etc.
  • We advise to applicants that, keep the Admit card safe because without admit card, applicants have to allowed to enter the exam hall for attending the exam.

NDA Answer Key 2019

  • Answer key for applicants will be available within few weeks after the examination.
  • Applicants can check the answer key through official website of UPSC.
  • Answer key will help the applicants to get the rough idea that how much mark they will score in exam but we suggest to applicants that wait for the result.
  • Applicants can also challenge the answer key, if they have any doubt in any answer.

NDA Result 2019

  • Applicants can check the result of NDA 2019 through official website of UPSC.
  • Result of NDA 2019 will be declared may be after the one month from the exam.

  • Those applicants who are shortlisted they will give the interview which is taken by Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defense.

 NDA Selection Process

Those applicants who will qualify the exam they will be called for selection process and it has been divided into sections, i.e. SSB Interview & Medical Examination. Related detailed is is mentioned below:

SSB Interview:

  • Those applicants who qualify the written exam, First applicants have to give the SSB Interview.
  • Applicant will get the schedule of interview through call letter.
  • The SSB interview round will be divided in two stages and it will take 5 days to complete.
  • In first, Stage applicants have to give PP & DT (Picture Perception & Description Test) and OIR (Officer Intelligence Rating).
  • In second Stage applicants have to face the Group Testing Officer Tasks (GTO Tasks), Psychology Tests, Interview & Conference.

Medical Examination & Document Verification:

  • Applicants have to carry the original documents of 10+2 level or equivalent passing certificate to the Service Selection Board (SSB).
  • Applicants all certificate will be verified after clearing the SSB Interview round.
  • Applicant’s original certificates will be returned to applicants when document verification process is over.
  • Those applicants who clear the SSB round, they have to face the medical test.
  • And medical test will take more than three to five days.
  • After completing medical process final list will be of applicants will released.
