JEE Main Latest Changes Introduced Last year:
In 2017, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India has assumed some latest changes in the pattern of JEE Mains 2017-2018. Here we are the remind that changes again:
*No weightage will be provided to 12th standard marks for estimating AIR (All India Rank) in Joint Entrance Exam Main.
*In order to succeed for admission to NITs, IITs, IIITs, CFTIs, applicants should have minimum 75% marks (65% for ST/SC)in higher secondary exam or must be in top 20 percentile in class intermediate exams directed by respective (recognized) boards.
*Moreover, applicants must have an Aadhaar Card No.to fill the JEE Main application form.
*Students from Meghalaya, Assam and J & K are excluded from that provision. Such students have to enter passport no, bank account number and ration card number or any other valid Govt. ID’s no. to get JEE Main examination centre in above states only.
JEE Main 2018 Application Form
All the students must read the information provided brochure carefully in advance from filling the online form of JEE Main 2018 to have information about how to apply, payment mode and application fee.
Applicants have to fill the JEE Main 2018 application form through online mode. No hard-copy will be available to fill the JEE Main Application Form 2018 thru offline process. Application has been released now for eligible candidates, and the last date of submission is scheduled as on 1st Jan, 2018 (don’t wait for last date rush).
To apply for JEE Main, applicants must have an Aadhaar Number/Registration Number/ Aadhaar Enrollment Number which will be given by facilitation center of JEE main. In more to filling academic and personal details, applicants also have to upload digital images of signature and photograph in given specifications.

JEE Main 2018 Application Fee Payment by E-challan
You can pay the fee of JEE Main Application by using e-challan, from the bank of Canara/ICICI/Syndicate/HDFC. It will be generated by system automatically by opting the mode of payment by using E-challan. You just need to take of print of the generate e-challan and submit it at the any branch of the bank that you have selected. After successful payment of the application fee will be able to get the print the Acknowledgement Page. If you have failed to generate the Acknowledgement Page, quickly contact the respective bank and ask to update the transaction.
Important Instructions regarding Photograph
Candidates will be able to re-access the uploaded photo. The photo should be acceptable in both colored or black & white, but remember one thing the background & foreground have neat contrast (light & white background). It will be captured by professionals means the selfie or cellphone captured photographs will not rejected. The photograph should have contain name & date of birth of the candidates at the bottom. The face of an individual should be appear clearly in order it will not covered with cloth, shadow or hair and avoid cap or hat, googles, sun glasses or colored glasses while taking photo. Those candudates who have spectacles must remember that there will not any glare in his/her photograph. All scanned copies should in jpeg format of signature, left hand thumb impression and photograph.
Specifications for Photograph: The size should be greater than 4 kb and less than 40 kb in size. Width must be 3.5 cm, height must be 4.5 cm .

JEE Main Application Form Correction

Number of Attempts:

Eligibility For Admission in NITs, IITs, CFTIs:
Percentage Marks: To be capable for admission in NITs, IITs, CFTIs, applicants must have obtained 75% marks in 12th standard examination or should be in the top twenty percentile in the 12th class examination of respective (recognized) boards. The qualifying marks for ST/SC will be 65% only for these categories.
JEE Main 2018 Exam Pattern

The options for question paper must be exercised during fill-up the online application form.
Exam Duration:3 hours duration will be provided.
Marking Scheme: Applicants will be given with +4 marks for each right response.
Negative Marking: In case of incorrect response, 1 mark will be minus.
For JEE Main 2nd Paper:
- Course: 2nd Paper is arranged for admission to Planning. /B.Arch. courses.
- Exam Mode: Mode for this paper will be PBT (offline).
- Number of Questions:30 questions will be come in Mathematics (Part-one), 50 questions in aptitude (Part-second) and 2 questions for drawing including total 390 marks.
- Type of Questions: The Aptitude and Mathematics test section will have objective questions. Drawing test is a subjective type.
- Language: For all exam centers, the question paper will found in English & Hindi (except exam cities in Daman & Diu, Gujarat and Nagar Haveli and Dadra where selection for question paper will be Gujarati, English and Hindi). - Exam Duration: 3 hours duration will be allow.
